Reduce weight effectively

Most people long for a slim, fit body to feel more attractive and desirable. The media marketing machine responds to this need with “miracle cures” and flash diets that often promise a kind of dietary and fitness nirvana. In addition, the rise of leading social media influencers and celebrities using image editing programs and studio lighting to conjure up a wrinkle-free, muscular, and trim “dream figures” use their physical appearance as a living, breathing, 24/7, advertising campaign. They willingly appear as paid advocates of diet pills, shakes, supplements, creams, diet plans, and more. The commonly held dream of melting away the thick winter fat before the beach vacation with little effort sounds very tempting. Hardly anyone knows a person in their circle of family, friends, or acquaintances who has not tried at least one of these trendy diets. The desire for perfect hips and chiseled abs is a particularly great motivator to start a diet.

The success of a dieting process depends on both consistency and determination. Even the best diet, if there even is such a thing, would be unsuccessful if there is a lack of perseverance on the part of the person trying to lose weight. A diet is not a religion. The results depend on the person, and as such should be evaluated individually. Fighting over which diet is better than another is ineffective. There are several ways to reduce body fat. What is difficult for one person may be a trifle for another. Therefore, the method that seems the most appealing and easiest should be chosen, and the chosen method should then be practiced ideally under medical supervision until success can be measured.

Overcoming obesity

For many people, increased body fat is associated with hormonal as well as metabolic disorders. Food intolerances can also make it difficult to lose weight. A food allergy test can help. Targeted intestinal rehabilitation is also recommended. There are medicines that are suspected of promoting unwanted weight gain. These include medicines containing cortisone, the contraceptive pill, medicines for migraines, antidepressants, neuroleptics, antihistamines, cholesterol-lowering medicines, and beta blockers for high blood pressure.

Obesity cannot always be attributed to an excessive appetite, but often to a hormonal imbalance. Weight gain is hormonally influenced. The ratio of male and female hormones is partly responsible for the regulation of body weight and fat distribution. By finding out the hormonal cause of dyslipidemia from a doctor, a specific therapy can be derived. From a medical point of view, there are some measures that can help to reduce body fat.

Minimize Stress

Before any calorie-reduced diet, it is important to find out whether your physical constitution permits such a diet. Certain medications can potentially be hostile to the body by causing weight gain and can slow down, or even prevent success in a diet. Antihistamines (drugs against allergic symptoms) as well as drugs containing cortisone belong to this category. It should also be noted that women and men have different fat metabolisms.

For this reason, this should also be considered in diets and fitness programs – what is good and effective for one person may be ineffective for another. It can be helpful for overall health and wellness to do a multi-week reduction diet 1-2 times a year. Varied reduction diets can help the body detoxify, sanitize the intestines, reduce excess body fat, boost hormone balance, as well as mobilize the body’s own self-healing abilities, etc. A reduction diet can be compared to a cleansing “rejuvenating bath”.

Sufficient time should be planned for each diet. A successful diet needs good preparation, recipes, a plan, and an appropriate stabilization phase. An essential and often disregarded factor is stress. During the stabilization phase, stress should be avoided, and sufficient rest periods and restful sleep should be scheduled. A healthy balance between diet, exercise and regeneration should become a habit.

The most effective diet conditions the change of daily habits. Short one-sided diets have little lasting effect, although they can be beneficial in stages. If you want to avoid the infamous yo-yo effect, you should not be satisfied with quick results, but aim for lasting success.
